Ndutu

Check out this website for Ndutu. It's the lodge we're going to be staying at in Tanzania for a couple of days. It's located "In the heart of the Serengeti Plain, at the head of Olduvai Gorge, beside a small lake set in beautiful acacia woodland, with the mighty backdrop of the Ngorongoro Crater highlands." (how great does that sound?!!)

It's absolutely stunning, and the wildlife viewing possibilities are in the thousands.

This is an actual picture, taken by an Ndutu visitor in 2006. This is a similar scene to what we will be able to enjoy, as February is calving season.

It looks like a water colour! *sighs* I'm already there.
